CooperVision’s Avaira contact lenses is manufactured from enfilcon A, and it features a UV blocker and an aberration neutralizing system. This system uses unique aspheric optics that enhances vision by minimizing spherical aberrations that occur in both the lens itself and the eye. Avaira contact lenses also utilize an optimized back surface and a rounded edge design. This allows for easy fitting and increased comfort. The lens has a natural wet-ability made possible by the unique Aquaform technology found in Coopervision’s premium silicone hydrogel contact lenses. Aquaform technology provides optimal comfort and minimizes deposits, whilst allowing high levels of oxygen to pass through the lens.
